Aspiring Educational Leader in Community College Higher Education

Introduction

Elizabeth Gush is an emerging educational leader whose career bridges legal, nonprofit, and higher education sectors—all united by a single purpose: to help individuals and families reach their full potential through access, empathy, and opportunity. A first-generation magna cum laude college graduate currently competing her graduate studies in Educational Leadership through Northern Arizona University, Elizabeth currently serves in the Fitness and Wellness Department at Scottsdale Community College, one of ten Arizona colleges within the Maricopa County Community College District. Her lived experience as a working adult learner and caregiver fuels her passion for transforming community colleges into spaces that fully embrace working parenting and caregiving students and their families. With a vision rooted in compassion, inclusion, and generational empowerment, she advocates for campuses where students can thrive academically while also nurturing their roles as parents, caregivers, and contributors to stronger, more resilient families and communities.
